There are two signs for ANSWER or REPLY depending on who is answering. The first sign is made with one hand in the shape of V. The hand moves from a low location on the outside with the palm normally facing the side. It moves to just in front of the mouth whilst it turns so that the palm ends up facing downwards or outwards. This sign is used when someone answers the signer. The second sign resembles the first sign except in the direction of the movement. This sign is also made with one hand in the shape of V. The hand moves outwards from just in front of the mouth whilst it turns so that the palm ends up facing inwards. This sign is used when the signer is answering.
